Fire Drills

Bela asked to do school from in front of the fire today. It's chilly and what a better way to concentrate.

I am so grateful that K12 is available as a Public School choice in Colorado. Bela is doing awesome. She is now in 4th grade, 3rd year homeschooling. When she gets concepts there is no need to force extra assignments. It shows by her test scores and she likes not having homework.

With so many Americans being 'workaholics' it really bothers me that we are training our children at such a young age, to bring 'work' home. Seriously, if you can't get it done while in school, there is a problem with the curriculum not the child. (slides off her soap box ....)
