Sweet Child of Mine

Sleepy

I think the grumpiness of late is yet more teething. Joy!

Anyway, this afternoon I've been making a note of some of the things Elizabeth's saying now. I need to do this more, because I always forget by the time I come to update.

When I picked her up from the childminder she was saying: "look for mummy." She will have picked this up from Lynn, because when it's nearly hometime, Lynn will often take Elizabeth to the window to watch out for me arriving.

Also today, she spotted a dummy in my coat pocket. She said "Dummy, mummy's coat, in the pocket." Then she brought the coat to me.

Of Twinkle Twinkle little star she can sing: "Twinkle little star, how I wonder." And she makes up songs for her "baby", that are usually about sleeping.

Yesterday I asked the room where her bibs were. She pointed on top of the drawers and said "top". And she was right!

Other things she's saying:
* (object) I want eet (it)
* What the noise?
* Where (object) is?
* Mummy (or whoever is there) seet (sit) down. (She'll pat the step or seat next to her to show you where to sit)
* All finished (she stands up at the end of a meal and announces this)
* I loike (like) it!
* Mummy (or whoever) do it.
* Gen (again). (especially when I sing to her. Sometimes I'll sing the same song about 10 times on the way home).
* She can also tell you more character names from the telly than I even knew existed!
* She knows plurals and she can use "and" and "too" properly.
* She uses the word "under" for things that are under or behind something.

That's all for today!
