Badger before midnight

Lat night I sat out in the greenhouse in the hope of seeing the badgers, but they were a no-show - until after midnight and I had gone indoors. I thought I might try again tonight, but this time badger was early, and I was late. Fortunately I'd put out the trail cam so I was able to watch him through the kitchen window while the trail cam did all the work. Lots of pictures of badger's bum, but this one at least was a passable shot.
I'd committed myself to doing a walk check after my morning class - boy, did I regret it! Wandering round the streets with a soggy piece of paper and runny ink is not much fun! It was definitely that fine rain that soaks you through!
