Lots of pigeons

I came back to work for the dinner service to find this box waiting for me. It contained about 25 pigeons and was a present from someone I know. I like taking products like this. These were shot at a farm as a pest control measure.

People in the area shoot rabbits, pheasants, partridge, pigeons and venison. I love it when they bring it to me. It's the purest form of cooking when you get something that hasn't been fed or injected with something and has just lived of the land. Although I suppose the pheasants and partridge have been released for a shoot so they are different.
