Bow Brickhill

This is the porch at All Saints Church, Bow Brickhill. There were probably five saints on this little ledge originally, but now there is only one left and s/he has been decapitated.
The hooligans committed this vandalism (probably) centuries ago, and they did it in an attack on idolatry and other so-called papist practices.
It's still a tiny, beautiful church in a special isolated place.
