Red and Purple

After a long, hot summer, our fall is here at least for a couple days. We have had rain. I mean RAIN. Four inches of rain. Wonderful, glorious, wet and dreary day kind of rain. Today was a sun never came out kind of a day. I sat in my office and looked outside at the cloudy sky. I never once thought, "Boy do I wish the sun was out." That is until I was walking to the bus. I had my cheapie Kodak today. The flowers by the bus stop were out as were the bees. I had no luck in focusing on bees so had to settle for flower shots. Not as nice as if the day had been bright. But we have had rain, and flowers can grow.

And more good news, the Texas Rangers won the second game of the series with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the 11th. Well that is good Texas news. Bad Detroit news.
