Squirrel and Tree

Another beautiful fall day here in Indiana. The squirrels are everywhere, gathering acorns and digging in the piles of leaves. I couldn't decide which of these photos to post, so I combined them in Photoshop.

Last year the trees in Bryan Park were spectacular, but I'm not sure the show will be as good this year. A lot of the trees are losing their leaves before they even have a chance to change color. This small orange maple tree is the exception and it is currently the most colorful tree in the park. But there are a few other maples and oaks in the park that are starting to show some reds and oranges, so maybe we'll get a colorful fall after all.
