POPPIES !!

We still have a few late poppies in the field
which is nice.
It's a lovely day, the sun is shining a bitty
breezy, hope it lasts for a few more weeks
the kids are on holiday, up here it's called
the Tattie holidays, years ago all my kids
would go Tattie picking for the whole of
the two weeks, they have machines that
do it now.
My kids used to come home covered in mud
and always starving hungry for very little
pay, but they did enjoy it.
It's food shopping for me today, the larder
is bare, not that I ate all the food, as if :-D
