And Still More Grinding

I did some welding tonight. Isn't it funny how you go off song when it needs to be done right. My welds were appalling. So bad that I had to grind back most of them to make them look presentable.

I am thinking I will do full welds along the top but I might just tack the rest of it together. It will be more than strong enough when I am done.

After the welding and grinding debacle I decided to do some of my own work on the wood stove I am restoring. It was a labour of love, removing all the surface rust from the cast iron legs. Now all I need to do is decide what colour to spray them. Probably charcoal or black. It will be a stove after all.

Now to practice my guitar before bed. It has been a full evening.
