long distance call

After a week's silence just had another lovely chat with my son who's cycling over the mountenous slopes of the Himalayans together with 9 other sportive cyclists from Holland. He's told me they've been pictured already so many many times by the chinese as they marvell those weird Europeans on their bikes on their slopes!

So far so good their adventurous journey:) On average they cycled on hights between 4100 mtrs up till just above 5000 mtrs where they'd get over a pass or camp out for the night. And now they're in touristic Bhaktapur in Nepal and very close to Kathmandu. I took a blip of my boy when calling me and showing me from the window he sat at the biggest temple of Bhaktapur on skype. What a wonderful world of communication we live in! Just imagined Marco Polo's mum would have welcomed such a call from her boy too!
