Remembering loved ones....

9 years ago my 10 month old niece lost her fight for life. Each year on this day we let off a helium balloon and a have a quiet moment reflecting on losing her and how much we all miss her. Truth be told I miss her every day but my mood on this day is always more sombre.

The sky was heavy when we let off the balloon but just as it rose out sight the sun came out. I like to think that was Eilidh saying "Thanks for the shiny balloon Auntie Maggie"

Rest is peace Wee Eilidh. We love and miss you every day x
