That time again

Jess & Molly are going to see Mr P***, the groomer, yet again. We are almost certainly going to collect 'penalty points' this time (see the note, top right, in large.)

Molly knows exactly where we are, and is looking worried. Neither she nor Jess likes this particular visit! But Jess prefers to keep her head down and ignore the scenery.

The place where they go for their pampering is a beautiful house with large grounds. There are always plenty of pheasants about, and this pair came particularly close to the car. Neither of the dogs paid any attention to them - a total contrast from their behaviour at home. Here they will not tolerate the sight nor sound of pheasants. Indeed, Jess made their lives such a misery when she first took over the garden, that they moved out immediately. They rarely visit now, but their noises can frequently be heard from the neighbouring gardens. When pheasants do make their presence known, Jess & Molly start barking furiously. Today, however, I think that the puppies have more to occupy their minds.
