'Bear ye one another's Burdens'

A few months ago I posted a Blip of the sign above the doorway of the old Coney Hill Mental Hospital that is close to us.
The hospital was closed down years ago during the change to 'Care in the Community'. The building is pretty magnificent, although a bit creepy in an 'Amytiville Horror' sort of way, but it soon succumbed to vandalism, lead and tile stripping and, in the end, arson.
However, it was bought by a development company and turned into very nice flats so the building itself has a new lease of life.

This shot is from the 'Open Spaces' park in Abbeymead, Gloucester, through a line of Poplar trees where you can see the clock tower of the old hospital poking it's peak up towards the sky.
