new boots!

from yesterday's delicate ladylike historic shoes to my plates of meat...

these glorious bad boys, are my new winter boots that arrived today. waterproof, grippy, fleecy lined, and at that size I won't blow over in a breeze...

I thought they made a nice contrast to yesterday by demonstrating the development of footwear over the centuries...
