Raindrops Keep Falling On My Desmond's Head

Even Desmond is fed up of this weather.

What did I do today? Got drenched taking the dog for a walk. Bought tickets to see Macca in Manchester in December. Cost a fortune but, well, it's Macca!! Had a chat on the phone with my friend, Cathy, in London. Had a chat with my friend, Linda. Her Mum's bladder cancer has spread so as well as having to have her bladder removed, she now has to have her womb and a kidney removed. She's had another scan which will show if the cancer has spread to her chest. The results will take around a week. It was difficult enough to think that she had to lose her bladder but now it's so much more for her to go through. Linda is being brilliantly positive and a fantastic support to her Mum. Proud of you, Linda!

Took Dad food shopping. He'll have to be taxied around for a couple of weeks yet. I'm so glad to be back driving my car. Luxury!!
