Raindrops Keep Falling On My Hovis's Head

God, this weather is miserable. Only a Springer could love this weather...

Today I've been fireplace shopping with my Mum. Oh and the mini has been cancelled because Mum decided that she'd rather keep her Honda! It's only got something like 1 mile on the clock in any case...

Fireplace has been chosen and we then took my Dad out for dinner (that's lunch for you poshies). My Mum & Dad divorced years ago but they are great mates now which is good. My Mum and I ordered vegetable hot pot. We were brought lamb hot pot...urggghhh, the smell! Dad thought it was hilarious because he loves his meat...lovely steak and ale pie he had! We only had to wait a few more minutes for our veggie dishes so all was okay.

I got drenched taking Hovis for a walk. He's being such a well behaved dog for me. I can't believe this is my dog. It's as if he knows there is worry in the family and he's on his best behaviour. Or maybe, now that he's 8, he's finally matured...wait, no, he's a springer - that would be just silly!!
