A thousand new paths

Day 6. 365grateful - Courage

This is me posting some paperwork for my divorce that I finally filled out. I've had the paperwork since August. Every time I even tried to open it I got this wave of despair and I closed it again and put it away. It's not that I don't want to be divorced; given the circumstances it is absolutely the best possible outcome. It's just that dealing with it is such a drain in so many ways. So, today I am grateful that I plucked up the courage to complete the paperwork and get it out of the house. And I found that asking G to help me really made a big difference. I didn't feel so on my own about it all.

The 365 Grateful Project
In early 2008, in an effort to fight depression, Hailey Bartholomew started a year long photographic project which involved taking one Polaroid photo a day of something she felt grateful for.
I thought that this was such a fab idea I would do it as well. I have been blipping on and off recently but I lost my enthusiasm for it when I felt that every day was the same, always going to the same place. However, I think that documenting something I am grateful for each day gives it a different slant.
