Start of the Brussels Oktoberfest

Tonight was the opening night of the Brussels Oktoberfest 2011. Every two years the Permanent Representation of the German State Bavaria to the EU organises an Oktoberfest in a big tent on Place Jourdan.

Our director general is from Bavaria and when she arrived in 2007, she took the office for the first time to the Brussels Oktoberfest and started a tradition. We have attended the 2007 and 2009 editions and will of course attend this year's festivities! I can't wait to go! :)
