Californian Quail

Didn't have to move from the deck for this shot. This Californian quail was sat on a post at the end of the decking. He simply perched there and waited... for me to carefully walk inside, get the camera, change the lens and walk outside again to take some shots. He then continued to wait and pose while I took my zoom off for TeeJay to use and take some shots. He even waited until I went back inside and got her 'big ass' lens. He was a delightful model and both of us took A LOT of shots! He had to be my blip and I am suspecting that he will be TeeJay's too.
