Are the Herons tattie howking ?

As Maeve the deerhound and I wandered down towards the shore today I noticed two groups of Herons standing in the field that has just been cleared of potatoes. I went as close as I could get without going into the field and took this photo of the nearest group.

For those of you who remember the movie of "The Jungle Book" .... can't you just imagine them having the "What are we gonna do now?" conversation !
