How do you encapsulate the fact that it has rained almost non-stop since last Thursday?

Everywhere is awash.

The old hospital site is a sea of mud. The path in the fields impassable without rubber boots.

And the light? It's like the master of the universe has cast a grey woolly blanket over the world, the middle distance is gone in a ghostly haze.

So, my clever blipper friends. How do you take a photograph of rain?
