Door Furniture

Things that one puts on your door are rightly known as door furniture. Of course, you can no doubt work out the other possible title such a blip could command.

Part of my job is to canvass door to door, a part of my job which I avoid as often as possible for as long as possible but occasionally I give in and go out on the knocker. The best bit about it is not the potential to find a rich customer but looking at the ornate stuff that people adorn their front doors with. I took about half a dozen pictures from the 30 or so houses I called on today. Quite a high percentage of interesting items, but then again, the good burghers of Weybridge like a bit of bling.
