Oscar Marzaroli
I was so pleased to get this book back recently. I attended an exhibition of photos by the Glaswegian photographer Oscar Marzaroli in 1984 and he signed a copy of his book for me.
I had always admired his work which catalogued the changing face of Glasgow as the slums were pulled down to make way for motorways and high-rise flats. Ironically, were he alive today, he would have been able to record the removal of the high-rises.
You can see some of his photos here and there's a bit about the man here.
