Wet kitty

This is my cat, Pocky. He's about 4 months old. Still a considered a kitten. He just took a bath and he's all wet. You can tell by his expression that he didn't like it very much. In the process, he would fight and complain, but after he's all finished and dried, he has a fresh, clean, shiny coat and he loves it.

It reminds me of how God sees us. He knows what's best for us and has a purpose for everything He does. Oftentimes, we complain and ask, "Why do I have to go through this?" or "What did I do to deserve this?" In the moment, it may be painful and we may really hate it, but in the end it all makes sense when we look at the bigger picture. Owning a pet is a glimpse of what it's like being a parent, and being a parent is a glimpse of what it's like being God.
