Will it ever end?

This is a really crap blip & for that I apologise but this is really a rant of epic proportions (well not that epic, I am British after all)

Like all other geeky beavers I was poised by my pc at 1800GMT to download & upgrade to the latest iOS5 software & install to my iPhone. I didn't have to worry about my iPad have already 'acquired' a copy on the previous Friday.

After downloading & installing for over an hour, it failed. So decided to download only & then install, which seemed to work. This all went through swimmingly & I set up my iPhone with the new software which had restored from back up - or so I thought!!

Everything had beef wiped, all contacts, all photos, all apps & most importantly ALL MUSIC. An erroro message then popped up saying that the restore had been interrupted & did I want to start again from back up, I of course said yes. This continued until 2330 when I finally had what I consider to be a functioning phone (I'm still not too happy & will be taking laptop & iPhone to work to let the IT geeks look at it)

Then came the desicion to re-sync my music which started at 2345 last night & as you can see from photo is no where near finished
