The meaning of life

Today we had a meal at Les Deux Magots on the Boulevard St Germain. We had a lovely meal - Bill had Croque Monsieur!! But this is a photo of our drinks - there is no fairness in the world my Kir although very nice was much smaller than Bill's beer!! This is the cafe that all the writers and philosphes came to - Hemingway, Jean Paul Sartre, Scott Fitzgerald, Balzac etc - I wonder did they discuss the size of the drinks ...
