Skye Day 5

What a day! Out on a boat trip this morning, then a 5 mile hike around the Quiraing on the afternoon and then a drive home via the western coast to watch the sunset. Stunning stunning stunning.

As i took these blips of the fish eagle coming in to take a fish I knew that no matter what we saw later in the day, there would be very little to beat this. I had left the long lens on the camera as I thought we might be lucky in getting a blip of them circling overhead. As it was, the long lens was almost too long as it came in to take a fish from next to the boat. What a stunning bird!

We didn't get to see any whales or dolphins (it's past their 'season') but we did see plenty of seals and some very strange ducks which our skipper was surprised we'd never seen before.

With the beautiful weather we couldn't have asked for anymore.
