Whoops!

Lazy day today, weather was dreadful this morning and it chucked it down (can't moan though as the weekend has been fantastic, in contrast to the forecast). So we did a bit more work on the skirting boards we are trying to fit until my parents visted, which seemed like a good time for a break.

Went out at about 5pm to take Mr SC to the chiropractor and found this tree had fallen just around the corner from our house. By the time we returned the Council were on site so we had a natter as we knew the guys. It didn't take the tree surgeon long to cut the tree up and take it away. It just seemed such a shame as the top of the tree looked perfectly healthy so goodness knows why it keeled over! Even the trunk was fine, so I think the arboriculturalist will be doing a bit of investigating on this one.
