sorting the attic

Today Sam came over and helped us put up a load of shelves.

The biggest change has to be to the attic. Only a few weeks ago there was complete chaos here, piles of boxes, paperwork coming out of our ears and hardly space to move.

Thirty plus bags of recycled paper (and two more today) and about half that of rubbish, a day spent organising boxes and luggage in the eaves and there is a pretty clear space.

The model boat on the wall to the left is another of my Dad's models, one of the Hunt class destroyers that he served on during the war, HMS Mendip.
