Very Expensive Coffee?

I had a meeting over a cup of coffee in McD today and it ended up being a 2 hour one.

I spoke to the staff and they we're actually very rude and unhelpful about the parking issue.

I was not using the car park for a free days parking to go shopping, to catch a train to London, to avoid paying car parking. I'm happy to pay for parking. I have also invested quite a few quid in McD's over the years.

I've read online and heard from friends that if I get a ticket from MET, who run this parking 'scam' for McD I should not pay it because they can't actually issue 'a fine'.

Does any one have any knowledge of this company.
