Butter side down

1. I am having a supper of digestive biscuits, butter and cheese. I just dropped my knife mid assembly and it of course landed butter side down. It's been that kind of day. Could've been worse, could've dropped the biscuit.

2. Upholstery tonight and Kate's chair is finished in no time. I am pretty proud of it.

3. I start work on Mr Knoll. Parker Knoll. It's pretty cool unpicking it and finding out how it's done. There's some pretty impressive engineering under here. I think I got a bit of a bargain.

4. During the evening one of the french polishers comes through to show us a letter she found in the desk she is restoring. A letter from 1847 and a tax statement. His address is the next street from along from where I am right now.

5. A bit of a dust down and the knife is back in action and everything is back on track supper-wise.
