Day 8. 365grateful - The Mary Ward Centre
On Thursday afternoons I teach Psychology at the Mary Ward Centre. I have worked there since at least 2007 (I'm not good with dates, I had to check!). It's an adult education college near Holborn, London, UK. It's a lovely place to work and study (I have done a mosaic course there myself!). The staff are fab and the cafe is vegetarian. I'd love to work there full time but alas jobs don't come up much. So I am grateful for the teaching that I do there. Don't tell them but I can't quite believe they pay me to have so much fun!
Praise the bridge that carried you over. ~George Colman

The 365 Grateful Project
In early 2008, in an effort to fight depression, Hailey Bartholomew started a year long photographic project which involved taking one Polaroid photo a day of something she felt grateful for.
I thought that this was such a fab idea I would do it as well. I have been blipping on and off recently but I lost my enthusiasm for it when I felt that every day was the same, always going to the same place. However, I think that documenting something I am grateful for each day gives it a different slant.
