Handing over

Allison, Martin and I have co-edited the journal Children & Society for the last seven years of its 25-year existence, seven years which have seen a lot of changes. Today was our last Editorial Board meeting before handing over to a new team in the New Year. Previously editors have stepped down and been replaced one at a time, but we decided to go out with a bang and let new brooms come in. It's been hard work, and a lot of fun. Good friends and colleagues are to be treasured.

Yes, the glasses behind us will soon be filled with champagne. There's a cake too!
