canoefest 2008 - day 1

spent the extended weekend with friends in what we call canoefest - our annual visit to the river for a great deal of drinking and fishing, and very little actual paddling. this is the sixth event, 5 of which i have been to.

there were 17 of us this year - shiloh dropped out on account of hiking the appalachian trail this year - lame excuse :)

i forgot to purchase a watertight case for the camera, so very few photos were taken from my end. other more intelligent friends made the right moves, and thus were able to capture a bit more of the action.
