texture tree

Well I have been ut with a camera club fr the first time ever today. We went to Westonbirt Arberetum in a attempt to capture stunning colours bathed in brilliant light however, the sun was choked by cloud cover and the unusually warm conditions meant most of the trees are still very green.

I therefore spent most of the day trying to get to grips with all the features of my new camera and concentrated mainly on texture. This branch being a prime example.

Messed around with the composition and converted the none interesting bits to mono as the sky was fairly burnt out anyway.
