True Colours

At the End of the Day

It's funny how different social acceptance is in different places.

If people were to walk up to me, put their face two inches from mine, grab my arm and ask me where I was from, all the while whilst I was trying to ignore them...it would be looked on as SUCH an invasion of personal space and privacy. But here, it seems common place.

Don't get me wrong, I know it's because being here, with my pale skin and white man fro, I stick out like a sore thumb. But if anyone did that to anyone on Princes St, they'd surely wind up with a black eye.

I just find it interesting how standards and precedents change from place to place, even if the people stay the same.

Day two in Morocco,...such a fan of it so far. Especially sitting for two hours overlooking the main square in the Medina, watching the world change and come alive as the sun went down.
