Let me stroke your brow

Not a nice morning as I had to take Baby S for his first immunisations. He is such a calm and happy baby he very rarely cries. The only times he moans are for food, attention or if he is struggling to settle. I normally sort any of the above out in a few minutes.

It was a big shock to his system when his gorgeous chunky thigh was stabbed with a needle by the nasty nurse. Then to add insult to injury I turned him around and his other leg got stabbed too.

Poor little fella did not know what to do with himself and screamed and cried real tears.

The nurse clearly does not like doing it either as she put on whale music before she started and played nursery rhyme music afterwards.

Anyway he is a little unsettled now. He is a bit flushed and keeps crying and whimpering.

I was stroking his brow when I thought it would make a nice blip. I have done it to all my babies. I am trying to remember and relish everything with Baby S as he is my last and they grow so fast. They are not little for long.
