Snipe

This must be the luckiest shot I have ever taken. Today we went to Blacktoft Sands on the South bank of the River Ouse. I was happily snapping away and Mrs YR was pointing out a bird to me , but I had got the wrong one as usual. When we got back, in only one shot was this Snipe and the bird I had been watching. "That is the bird I was telling you about" beamed Mrs YR. So this is it....the bird I never saw.
