The Chinese House, Shugborough Hall, Staffordshire

It was glorious (and quite unseasonable) weather so we went for an afternoon walk around the gardens at Shugborough Hall, in Staffordshire.

The route around the monuments was perfect with the bright sunlight through the autumn trees and the clear blue sky.

The Chinese House was completed in 1747 and was probably the first of Thomas Anson's garden buildings.
