Next Year...

I know that most people get annoyed at the number of awards ceremonies there are, but watching last nights Baftas had the same effect on me as they always do - they make me even more determined to work as hard as I can to get to the top. Since the age of 13 I have been writing and directing short films which led on to the production, in my second year of Uni, to my first feature.

Now it may not have won any awards, but it was an incredible experience and something I will be repeating in four months time when I direct my second.

My congratulations go to all the winners from last night and especially to Andrea Arnold. As her award was presented I turned to my brother and said two words, 'Next Year.' Amen to that!
