Puff....

The week we've had in Suffolk has disappeared in a puff of ....puffball mushroom. Or is it? Is it a bit green for one of those, I don't know?

I found this specimen on Blaxhall Heath, which is just a few miles from where we were staying at Iken, in Suffolk.

After a bite of lunch in the car we did another walk from our 'Pub Walks' book at Easton. It was a very pretty 'chocolate box' village, complete with round thatched houses. The day got sunnier as it went on, although, it was a bit cooler with the breeze.

Now I have sore legs from all that walking and have had to have a beer, local Southwold brewer, variety 'Gunhill', as analgesia. :0)
