Old Hitchin

Thanks everyone for your comments, delighted to hit the spotlight page with the black squirrel. We watched a programme tonight about the Great Caledonian Forest and concerns about the grey squirrels reaching the Highlands and endangering our red squirrels, no mention of the Hertfordshire black squirrels.

Today we had a meander around the town and the Thursday market. I love all the old buildings in Hitchin but there are Pondland shops, Cjinese take aways and all sorts of charity shops etc in these buildings so I decided to concentrate on the roof area of the buildings. These buildings on Nightingale Road caught my eye, loved the askew rooflines.
