Diversions from mundane

Any old oil?

This partially demolished concrete structure is in fact a massive bomb proof fuel bunker in Rosyth Docks, Scotland. Before the first world war it was the biggest single concrete structure in the world. Some 30 feet of soil and a lot of sheep camouflaging it.

Recently the company SMG have spent to date £4.8m removing the tank farm and the partial removal of the fuel bunker with 240,000 tonnes of concrete being removed from the site and recycled to date and a further 400,000 tonnes still to process.
