Dogwood
This is a very special tree.
When my little baby died 36 years ago I was given this dogwood tree as a very small tree. We planted it in our front yard.
It flowers every year and although is now too big for its position in the yard there is no way I can have it removed. I have managed to take some cuttings from it which are now planted and struggling to become larger trees at the farm (one of our calves recently jumped the fence and attacked one - it must have enjoyed the fresh shoots - the calf will be fresh meat if it does it again!!)
This blip is looking way up high. Down below the leaves are just beginning to burst out but up high, in the sun, the flowers have blossomed.
Every Spring this is the tree I enjoy the most.
