The Master Builder.
It's come on leaps and bounds today. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the roof started to take shape.
Pictured is Graham juggling with some timber and Mother who arrived just in time to brew up and then wash up.
That reminds me last week she came as i was just finishing for the day. I was pretty minging, legs and arms covered in clay, dust, etc. She said to DB "It reminds me when Ian was a boy i used to love bathing him when he was filthy like that. You can enjoy bathing him tonight Dee" It didn't happen, she refused point blank to sit at the 'Tap End' I'm a bit like that now but DB's in Corfu so there's not much chance of a scrub down.
As i was saying, we've had a good day. I 3/4 filled a skip before Graham arrived then it was mixing, cutting, screwing and drinking tea. No Permit to Work was signed, no Roof Access cert was seen, we did a Risk Assessment, it was 'Bloody Dodgy' and the 'Method Statement' must have been lost in the post. But we didn't stray from the 'Critical Path'.
The skip will be full tomorrow and then it's an afternoon gardening.
Tonight i'm having a few beers so CHEERS!!
