Masts and mist at Largs marina

Weather was tricksy today - started out for a walk on Largs promenade in a brisk wind - at least it was dry - and Shortie had a play on the climbing frame down the shore front. However, the return journey was in driving smir. Never ceases to amaze me how wet you get in light rain when there's a wind behind it.

We cheered up no end when we went for lunch at Scotts - as a parting treat for our house guests - and I took some photos of the yachts in the marina after. Lovely food - I'm still replete...

So now it's just the wean and I in the flat tonight for the first time in a week, and the house feels a bit empty. Well, if you don't count the two black furry beasties and a mountain of damp washing...
