First proper meal in a week

Had the worst week of my life!

Beth was admitted to hospital with suspected meningitis. She had had a temperature for a few days and suddenly started holding her head to one side and saying that her neck hurt. We took her into A & E and they admitted her saying that we had done the right thing. If they don't know what the problem is they treat it as meningitis.

So she had antibiotics through a drip and was closely monitored.

The end result was that it wasn't meningitis but some kind if infection (her white cell count was high) and her glands were very swollen.

Still a very scary experience!
