Singin' in the Shower!

Good morning, Gracie!! Do ya' wanna shower??

Well, initially, no...which is why, as you can see, I hold her foot firmly between my fingers. She holds on and flaps and drinks and raises her wings to wash under them, but always there comes the time when she wants to walk up my arm (dripping wet) and onto my shoulder to flap some more and celebrate the refreshing shower (which I work hard to not allow her to do!). She opens her beak and takes nice big gulps of the warm water.

Hip hip hooray! She flaps and preens and today is a good day for Gracie!

Having a good day is simple for birds....really simple.
