the ironic circle
8:30 this morning I was on the bus to work.
I've not been able to cycle for the best part of a week now. I think five years and near enough 5000 miles of commuting to work (not everyday, but probably close to 66.666% of the time) have resulted in an exercise addiction problem.
Part of me is feeling slightly demented at not being out in the fresh air as much. Of not having time to listen. Time to focus on one task.
I'm sure the lack of endorphin release associated with exercise will have something to do with it.
That said, I'm not complaining. It's been nice to read a bit more and to find an outlet for the desire to slumber that comes from not being as active. The ironic circle.
So when looking for something to photograph, I was drawn to the toggle on one of the zips on my bag. Nothing overly exciting, but a nice design of sorts.
The rest of the day was alright, some work, some play, some reading, some prep, some tyre shopping (car), some West Wing, some curry, some chat, some sleep.
