Welcome to my 2nd home! Our old labour ward was closed just over a year ago for 3 months, most of the staff redeployed elsewhere and the doctors transferred to other units. After a refurb we then reopened as a birth unit run solely by a small team of midwives for low risk pregnancies. I've spent the last 12 hours here and as much as i love the place (mostly) i'm ready for my dinner and some tv! I did put a little dent in the sweetie jar before i left :-) 2 night shifts now to look forward to...yay!
